Hi. I’m Kai.

I’m a paradigm-shifting speaker and composer who teaches innovation to Fortune 100 companies like Google, Disney, and Capital One. Inspired by my late mother who, when diagnosed with cancer, shared regrets of not bringing ideas to the world, I dedicated my life to answering one question: Why do some people write new music in their lives and work, while others just play the notes they’ve been handed?

A product of Stanford University’s human-centered design program, where I researched human behavior with renowned behavior scientist Dr. BJ Fogg, I spent over a decade studying how culturally pervasive paradigms of thought can silently dictate our ability to adapt. On this quest, I located 33 inconspicuous forces preventing modern leaders, in all industries, from navigating change effectively.

This prolific database allows me to offer a keynote experience that is completely client-centric. Instead of prepackaged takeaways, I partner with meeting planners long before the event so we can locate the specific inhibitions or cultural forces that might make change feel difficult for your attendees. Once we achieve perfect alignment together, I design simple, yet profound, musical metaphors to spark a transformation in the precise moments that impact your organization the most.
